247 Revolution

February 15-18, 2008

This extra-long holiday weekend is especially for high school and college students. (Elementary and junior high students are encouraged to attend our other winter Revolution events.) 247 Revolution is an intense time of worship, fellowship and instruction from the Word of God. Teaching times will be led by Pastor Josh Yoder from Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jamestown, Ohio; and worship through music led by Pastor Tim Holdridge and the Calstumi band from Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Also, a dynamic concert from Ruth will be Saturday evening at 9:30. Ruth was formed by Dustin Ruth after learning hard lessons about life and the music business through his move to Los Angeles, wide-eyed and filled with optimism with only his guitar and an eager attitude. When his dream did not form as he hoped, Dustin moved back home to Oregon where his choices left him soiled by the world. A close friend clued him into a different, better way. Dustin said, “I decided to commit my plans to God, to summit my life to the LORD, and to stop living without a purpose inside my goals. It took a couple years but I found a committed group of guys who wanted the same thing.” Ruth is an acronym for Return Us To Him. The hope is Ruth’s music will help steer hearts in the right direction. Their concert is open to the public for $10/person; no pre-sale tickets available.

We designed the weekend to be an extension of our week-long summer conference, Revolution, to continue to challenge young believers to be revolutionaries. New and experienced revolutionaries are welcome.
