FAQ's: What's The Difference Between New Frontier Camp and Alpha Camp?

Some of the activities are the same, but our counselors are trained to facilitate activities in a way that is appropriate for the age of the campers. Moreover, many of the activities are different. For instance, each age has their own low ropes course, and the Alpha campers have the opportunity to do two high ropes elements.

Each camp has their own chapel area and the chapels are geared for each age. The New Frontier campers may learn verses with motions and have puppets while the Alpha campers have a worship team lead music on a stage with PowerPoint. Also, although both groups study the same book of the Bible, the Bible studies are different and created with specific ages in mind. The time schedule is also different. New Frontier campers begin the day at 7:15 and end at 9:00; Alpha campers begin at 8:15 and end at 11:30. For more details, please review the samples schedules on each page.
