FAQ's: Medical StaffAt least one RN is on duty at all times in or near our nurse's station during the summer camping season and "on-call" during the retreat season. A local Doctor signs our standing orders so that we can administer a few common over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol for a headache or Neosporin for a cut. Due to the nature of camp, we provide first-aid type care only and cannot accommodate sick campers.In case of sickness, injury or extreme homesickness, we will contact the parents/guardians to pick up their child and no refund will be granted. If you have any questions, please email the camp at grow@sciotohills.com and your questions can be forwarded to our nursing staff. We also love to have nurses volunteer for a week in the summer to help our full-time nurses. If you are a nurse and would be interested in spending a week at camp, please contact our main office.
