Each summer, Scioto Hills hires 40 college and high school students to serve on summer staff. These young people must have a growing passion for God and desire to be a part of a team that influences children, teens, and families spiritually. God transforms the staff as He uses them to impact campers. This job is life-changing!
To qualify for summer staff:
- You must have an interest in being used by God and desire to be a part of a team that is clearly communicating the Gospel of Christ.
- Complete an application, submit reference forms and interview with a Scioto Hills' staff members.
Serving as a team member on summer staff is a mission experience. It is essential that staff have the support of family and friends because prayer is necessary. Additionally, summer staff are asked to raise financial support. Money donated in honor of a staff member enables Scioto Hills to keep camper costs down. Nevertheless, whether staff members raise any support or not, they are guaranteed $150 per week (for current college students) or $50 per week (for high school age or recent graduates).
