2019 Speaker: Mrs. Kari Windon

 THEME: “Girl, Read Your Bible!”

In a world that increasingly preaches a woman-centered gospel, we are told to wash our faces, stop apologizing, and take care of ourselves first! It sounds good, it feels empowering, and it promises to fulfill our deepest longings.

But is it true?

Kari Windon believes “all Scripture is God-breathed” and that we as women have both the ability and responsibility to be reading it for ourselves. We must be equipped to sort through popular books, Bible studies, and the “Social Media Version” of the Bible to live accordingly to the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kari is a police wife, homeschool mom of seven, and Bible lover. She and her husband, Tim, live in Lancaster, Ohio, where their family actively serves in their home church, Calvary Baptist. While she enjoys being called wife, mom, and teacher, her favorite new title is “Grammy”!
