MINI CAMP
This three-day introduction to summer camp is uniquely created for campers who want a camp experience without leaving home for an entire week. We pack in as much fun as possible where campers can enjoy things like the Summit Rock Wall, cabin activities, swimming, big games, and age-appropriate singing and teaching to encourage spiritual growth in camper’s lives all with 24-hour supervision.
2026 DATES
For the first time ever, we will have three consecutive weeks of Mini Camp that run during our New Frontier programming. Mini Campers will be dropped off on Sunday afternoons (the typical drop-off for all New Frontier, Alpha, and Revolution campers) and picked up Tuesday evening.

As with all Scioto events, registration closes one week prior to the event start date.
Mini Camp is uniquely created for campers that wish to get a camp experience without leaving home for an entire week. As with New Frontier Camp, cabin groups are arranged by age and/or sibling groups.
Please be aware that although Mini Camp runs alongside our New Frontier Program, Mini Campers will be in cabins with other mini campers and New Frontier Campers with New Frontier Campers. This is to help create a good cabin dynamic with all cabin-mates arriving and leaving at the same time.
Check-In for all programs are on Sunday afternoons at the Dining Hall from 3:00-4:30pm. Check-out is on Tuesday from 6:00-7:00pm for Mini Camp campers. Be sure your camper clearly understands who will be picking him/her up to go home. Please be prepared to provide a photo ID upon arrival at camp. Parents and family will be greeted by a staff member who will verify at least one adult in your party has permission to pick up the camper (noted on the child’s registration form). Then, you will be directed to the child’s Cabin Counselor.
